The Icon Editor is a helpful tool to modify icons directly on Iconfinder and to download them in PNG or SVG once they are ready. It works in a similar way as other graphic design software, easy and accessible for everyone. You don't need design skills for using the Icon Editor.

To modify an icon, click on the Edit icon button on the icon page.

The icon will open in the Editor.

All elements of the icon are selectable, so you can modify each one of them. You can also select the entire icon by marking all elements. The background (canvas) is also editable.

The right toolbar shows tools as:

  • Path: change the position of the element, rotate it and change its opacity and blur.
  • Align: change the alignment of the element on the canvas.
  • Stroke: change the width and the dash of the stroke.

If you double click an element, more options appear on the right menu, such as Add Node, Delete Node and Open Path.

To change the colours, click on the colour picker on the left toolbar. You can change both the fill colour and the stroke colour.

The top menu bar contains various functionalities which allow you to manipulate objects, zoom, edit, and export (save) your new icon in either PNG or SVG.

Finally, when all modifications are ready, use the green Download icon button on the top right corner. You can download the icon to PNG or SVG. Choose your preferred size from the drop-down menu.

The modified icon will then be downloaded directly to your computer.
