Our integrated Icon Editor is a helpful tool to recolor purchased icons directly on Iconfinder before downloading them.

To recolor an icon, click on the Open in icon editor button on the icon page or the pencil under the chosen icon in your search result.

The icon will open in the Editor.

All elements of the icon are selectable, so you can modify each one of them. You can also select the entire icon by marking all elements. The background (canvas) is also editable.

Mark an element you want to recolor and click on the color picker on the left toolbar. You can change both the fill color and the stroke color.

You can also pick a color by inserting its HEX code.

If you want to recolor all icon elements at once, mark them all with a selection tool, click color picker and choose the desired color.

The right toolbar shows tools as:

  • Path: change the position of the element, rotate it and change its opacity and blur.

  • Align: change the alignment of the element on the canvas.

  • Stroke: change the width and the dash of the stroke.

The top menu bar contains various functionalities which allow you to manipulate objects, zoom, edit, and export (save) your new icon in either PNG or SVG.

Finally, when all modifications are ready, use the green Download icon button on the top right corner. You can download the icon to PNG or SVG. Choose your preferred size from the drop-down menu. Read more about How to download icons from the Icon Editor

The edited icon will then be downloaded directly to your computer.
