Cash-out Checklist

Before we can process your first cash out, we need to confirm a few things. This page will help you provide the necessary information. We understand it's a bit of an inconvenience, but we will make the process as quick and painless as we can and you only have to do this once.

The Checklist

  1. We must verify your identity and copyright ownership
  2. You must provide your cashout preferences - Please fill in your information in the cashout settings and make sure it is accurate.
  3. You must have a minimum sales and/or referral balance of $100.00 - Coupon balances and prepayments are not eligible for cash out.

How Long Will This Take?

Once you have submitted the information requested below, we try to process verification requests within 72 hours. But please be patient. We are a small team running a big site and sometimes it can take us a little longer that you, and we, would like. But we promise to do our best.

Also, the process may require a little bit of communication back-and-forth. The more thorough you are in supplying the requested information, and the quicker you reply to questions and requests, the quicker we can complete the verification process.

Author Account Verification

Thank you for becoming a part of the Iconfinder community. We are pleased to have you as part of our growing marketplace. We need some additional information to help verify your account and ownership of the icons which you are selling on Iconfinder.com, so we can send your payments by the time you reach $100 in sales.

Verifying Your Copyrights

Iconfinder has a responsibility to the design community, to our customers, and as a matter of general ethics to verify, to the best of our abilities, that all sellers own the copyrights to the digital goods they sell in our marketplace. Given the nature of the internet it is difficult to verify such ownership. In order to verify with reasonable certainty that each seller owns the goods they sell, we rely on a number of factors.

1. Social Media Presence

While it is easy to remain relatively anonymous on the web, if one engages in commerce on the web with regularity, one will have a presence on social media such as Behance, Dribbble, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, other marketplaces, etc.

If you would not mind, could you please provide us with:

A few links to other marketplaces or online accounts where we can view your work. Links to sites like Behance.net, Dribbble, or other markets are especially helpful. Links to social media accounts are also helpful. Don't worry, we will never share this information without your explicit permission. This is for internal use only.

2. Design Artifacts

No designer or creator creates their products and works in the finished form with no leftover materials or artifacts. Many artists and designers keep scrap books, sketch books, and work files, many of which are re-used in later projects. We are happy to accept these artifacts as supporting documentation for account verification.

Please include any files or other items you have that you believe confirm that you created the icons. For instance, if you have Adobe Illustrator files of the icons as you were creating them, including unused icons, half-finished icons, sketches done by hand, posts online showing the icons at the time you created them, etc. We are not looking for finished icons, as those do not prove the authorship, but of files that only the creator would have. If you don't have any of these, even a tutorial or a video of how you create an icon will help.

3. Proof of Identity

Iconfinder.com operate under Danish and international laws. We are legally required to verify the identity of anyone with whom we transact financial enterprise.

If you can provide proof of your identity in the form of a government-issued identification card, drivers license, or passport we would greatly appreciate that as well.

If you are using an alias or any name other than your real name on your account, please update your name on your account to use your real name (family name and first name). You can, of course, use a custom username and also your company name, if that is the case, but for legal reasons we need your real name on the account.

Please refer to the follow support article on Author Verification for more helpful details about this process.
